M & J Tech Suits LLC, operator of LingVata (4938 S 24th St., Omaha, Nebraska 68107, United States), respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Platform to do the same. This policy explains who owns what on LingVata, how to report claimed copyright infringement, and how a user can respond.

1. Who owns what

Customer material. A customer keeps the rights in the documents, recordings and other material they upload. By uploading, the customer confirms they hold the rights or permissions needed to have the material translated or interpreted.
Delivered work. Rights in a delivered translation or interpretation pass to the customer on full payment, to the extent the professional holds them and as stated in the quotation.
The Platform. The LingVata name, logo, website, applications, design and software are owned by M & J Tech Suits LLC or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without written permission, except as the law allows.

2. Repeat infringers

We remove or disable access to material that we believe in good faith infringes copyright, and we terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe. We may also remove a listing that misuses another person's work or credentials.

3. Reporting claimed infringement (DMCA notice)

Send a written notice to our copyright agent:

Your notice must include all of the following, or we may be unable to act on it:

Your physical or electronic signature.
Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed, or, if several works are covered by one notice, a representative list.
Identification of the material you say is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (for example the project, booking or profile URL, or the file name).
Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.

4. What we do with a notice

We acknowledge valid notices promptly, remove or disable access to the identified material where appropriate, and notify the user who posted it with a copy of the notice. We may ask for clarification where a notice is incomplete.

5. Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to the same address containing:

Your physical or electronic signature.
Identification of the removed material and where it appeared before removal.
A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the district in which you live (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found), and agreeing to accept service of process from the person who filed the notice.

Unless the original complainant notifies us within 10 to 14 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material.

6. Misuse

Knowingly filing a false notice or counter-notice can lead to liability for damages, including costs and legal fees, under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f) and equivalent laws. If you are unsure whether material infringes, seek legal advice before filing.

7. Other intellectual property

For trademark, design or other intellectual property concerns, write to privacy@lingvata.com with the same level of detail described above. We handle these reports under the same process.
